Gondola (no rail fans here):
Well I am catching up so I guess I am matching a few of the earlier posts. Sorry, I seem to be slow in keeping up
First here is a gondola car to match pd, this an American Flyer (Chicago Flyer) "Sand Car" from 1936-37.
Then to match wp, here are some more RDC's. These are interesting, one is Lionel post war a gift from my brother from his boyhood and the other is Lionel MPC...externally you cannot tell the difference.
From some earlier posts here is a locomotive headlight running on the main with a passenger local. This is a French Hornby locomotive - 20 volt electric O-E locomotive in the colors of the late 40's.
Best Wishes

I’m going out on a limb here. John’s post of Craig’s Creamery triggered me to post my photos of Craig Park. I built the buildings in 1980, a few years after we lost our son Craig. I since incorporated the buildings on this layout with the mechanized park. There’s a man and an a ice cream cone in Don’s photo. There are several men in my video that also ends up with an ice cream cone.

Some folks waiting around the stores and waiting to get lunch at McDonald's. Seems like the raccoons are having lunch there as well.
@pennsyfan - sorry about your son but the park on your layout seems a wonderful remembrance of him.

Traffic in town
@Greg J. Turinetti posted:Traffic in town
This time you posted while I was typing. I think there is still a link with the autos.
OK I am a little confused, but I think this photo does it. @pennsyfan and Sitka - I have a 55 Chevy Nomad, red with white top and a policeman directing traffic. For Greg I have a traffic jam in town and lots of crossings! OBTW Greg, in your picture I loved the wooden (which look like they are homemade) buildings and houses...did you do those? Great work!
As much as I will miss this game for a few days, I have to tell you that I am traveling for 2 days to take me and my teen to the beach. We are going to Tybee Island, Ga just east of Savannah (hence the Savannah in the name of my fictional RR) so I will be off line likely till Saturday. Everyone have a great 4th Holiday and a wonderful and safe weekend.
Best Wishes

Following Don McErlean: here's a red and white '57 Chevy Nomad parked at the at the Drive-In Theater. They're showing a double feature of Summertime (Katharine Hepburn) and Seven Year Itch (Marilyn Monroe) tonight. Have a good time at Tybee Island, Don, and enjoy the 4th.

@Sitka Mark I just added my ‘66 Lemans Sprint to my profile.
Bob,
I checked out the pictures of your Lemans; very nice. I have a '75 Triumph Spitfire that I bought in October of '75. Had it out today for a ride--about 35 miles, more or less. I have to drive it on nice days with the top down. If I put the top up my body doesn't bend in those ways anymore and I can't get in it. Or, even worse, I can't get out. I should have bought a Pontiac.
