Hey my Friends.....

I have been working on about a half dozen projects on the layout and this is the latest one.  This is an area that you have not seen before.  It is located within and below the second level of the main downtown area.  This is an opening at the opposite end of the passenger tracks under the city just south of the train shed.  Several of the pictures are views from the tops of the skyscrapers that surround this space.  As usual, I still have a lot to do to complete the project so please forgive the mixture of vehicles timeline and the lack of certain scenery details....they will come later over time.  Hope you enjoy the pictures as I enjoy your comments and suggestions...  To get more detailed and full page views, don't forget to right click the photo, then click on "open link in new window".

Thanks,

Alan

Hi Alan,

As soon as I see a thread from you, I can't wait to click on it and see what you are working on. As usual everything you do is beautiful. So many times while I'm working in my shop on a project I think of you guys here on the forum and wonder what you are all constructing. That's what is so great about this forum, we get to show each other what we are doing and share so many great idea's

Thanks for sharing your wonderful work

Alex

Thanks Frank, Dave, Larry, Brian, Casey, Lee, Jerry, Sean, Rockstars, Alex, and Spence for the nice comments.

Pennsydave...I am happy that you noticed the similarity to which you refer....I was after that kind of look.  I will be adding catenary wire sometime in the future.

Jerry and Sean...I understand the dizziness....I felt it too as I was taking the pictures!

Alex...thanks so much for the very nice words.  They certainly help me going...

Hi Alan, I have to echo Spence above, but I would really like to compliment your use of light. Your photos look as if they where taken out doors. Very good work, I don't know if your results where an accident or not, but the above shows top notch photography work.

Thank you for sharing it with us.

EastonO, CK, sam, Rick, Joe, Michael, and Don....thank you for taking the time to make your very much appreciated comments!

Joe...the railroad still retains the air rights ; however,  the maintenance crews (me) needed to have access to the switches and this not only allowed access but also provided an interesting view

Thanks,

Alan
