Polar Express RTR Smoke Unit

So i pulled out my Polar Express Lionchief RTR, and the smoke unit produces smoke and enough of it, but it is almost like the Puffer is broken. The smoke just sits in the stack no matter the speed. It was puffing out perfectly just minutes before and stopped puffing mid run. I put 5 drops of fluid into the unit. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Sounds like the piston is stuck. Turn it over and check up behind the cow catcher. There's an arm that moves the piston up and down.
