GRJ, is this the ERR speaker? It's about 1.5" but doesn't appear to come with the baffle....couldn't find it on the ERR site.

Stan, if it's not the ERR speaker, it's certainly very close. I thought they sold it with the baffle, I'd ask them as I was sure that was a package.
Dear John
I also looked and could not find it did they reply back to you?
I've never ordered the speakers, I just take them out of the RS Commander kits I use.
Hmm, perhaps they don't sell the baffle a la carte like the speaker.
I know lot of the guys get good results with the "Fat Boy" speakers but it seems a bit hard on the wallet at $10 especially if you don't get the baffle. In any event, here's one for less than $1 each (free shipping) when you buy 4. It's just under 1.5" and of course you'd need to make your own baffle; but as I noted earlier you should be able to find something around the house to do so. I have not purchased these myself so I guess I'm simply suggesting it ought to be possible to find alternatives.
I could post eBay auction numbers but I think auction numbers turn into a pumpkins after a few months and this thread will probably go on beyond that! So the wording in the pic should searching on eBay next year or whenever.
FWIW Stan, I buy lots of speakers from similar ads. I have that exact same looking speaker in the 2" size, they actually sound really good with a homemade baffle. I use spray can lids, but almost anything similar will work.
Dear Gentlemen
Thank you for the reply. I ordered some speaker and they have arrived. I will use the 2" paint can lids as a baffle and see how that works out.
Hi John
It has been a little less than month that I have seen any updates how is your project coming along?
Still in the pipeline. I've been pulled away on other projects, so it's moving slowly right now.
Hi
News flash I just got a chance to put some items together. Thank you Stan and John for all your help and guidance. I changed the Hotwheel Knight Rider to an Aoshima Skynet Knight Rider K.A.R.R. 1/43 Diecast Car. The reason why I changed the setup was installing LED into the Hotwheel car required a lot of modification and use of equipment that I did not have.
Dear GRJ and Stan2004
THANK YOU! Knight Rider is completed.

John you are right that Chinese parts take up a lot of space but without them this project would have never been built by me. Stan thanks without you guidance on the Chinese electronic parts I would have been completely lost. This one man dream would have been a dream and never built but with your help it was built and completed today.
