I haven't been able to figure it out for Android. The attachment tool won't work from a desktop site request, and my ability to use copy paste from my photo sites comes and goes with updates. It seems one or the other fails me and I can't even easily post a link anymore without pencil and paper IF I can even read the whole link address.

Ive also been searching for an app that might replace some gestures as my touch often has less than desirable results , sometimes not seen other times activating from 4-5 inches away. But all the personalized features actually make searching harder vs giving results relevant to input info.

All touch screens do this for me, not just this one, I needed an assistant to press on the screen to test my repairs on cash registers.  Any info would be useful at this point. ( The external keyboards and plugs are far too delicate. I've wrecked a few already in just a few months use from setting it down and picking it up again alone. I'm no klutz, I can't find quality in the world of mini USB..plus I need to charge from USB.

Normally I get my best results typing or navigating from using the desktop site option. And all personifying off. It's a jellybean, I got it on a defensive recommendation from a google engineer I met the beginning of last year, as he tried to convince me this was a " better system" and improvements in touch screens would overcome my past  issues. I just never used it much because I still find it awful, but don't have an option for a while.

Support teams just try to sell me the new version with the same lines as last time.

I don't know if this is related. I had a post not show, or edited. ???

Then while posting, the attachment tool showed up, over my composing box. Then after returning to my mail, alll my notification emails had vanished from my email account like a recall, as only one was in my trashcan, marked as read, though I had not read it yet. Since then I have received a notification. Result of looking into the issue?

I would like to post four pictures to the Real Trains Forum. I have tried to do it but the captions don't show up and the pictures do not show up in the order that I set when creating the post.

What is the secret to get the captions to show up associated with the correct photo and why don't they show up in the order I put them (same as the order I uploaded them)?

Thank you,

Often when I post, I would like to post pictures interspersed with text.  Then as an afterthought I want to add more pictures and text.  Unfortunately, when using Attachments, the additional pictures get inserted at the top of the post even though the thumbnail is located at the bottom of the list of attachments and there is no obvious way to move them.  My somewhat clunky workarounds are:

1.  Upload all the attachments in the correct order, and then insert text where I want it.

2.  Upload pictures to a picture sharing site and use the Insert/edit Image icon to place the pictures where I want them.

Does no one actually READ any more? Just 3 posts above this one I said:

"If the images in a post are not in the order you want, click and drag them to where you want them to be."

In addition, additional images get inserted wherever the cursor is at the moment you add the new image. Place your cursor where you want the new image to appear and it will go there.

I am unable to place attachments in a new post until after some text is in place - it gives a red banner with the message "a value is required". Sometimes I just type a single letter so I can first get the photos in place, then arrange text around the photos.

And here is another order, all done by copying and editing the previous post, then using Click and Drag.

If you want captions, add them AFTER you have placed all the images in the final order you want. To place a caption immediately under the image as I have done in this post, use <SHIFT - ENTER> to place the cursor immediately under the image. That gives you smaller line spacing than using <ENTER>.

These lines are placed

using <ENTER> between the lines.

There has to be SOME text in the post, Ace. That's why you cannot add an image without placing some text in place first.

I think that the discrepancy is related to device.  Your instructions work fine on my PC, but not when using my iPad.  Adding another attachment as an afterthought places it at the top rather than at the cursor.  And it locates the thumbnail below all the other thumbnails.  So I can't relocate the picture by dragging the thumbnail down since it is already at the bottom position.

Maybe someone else using an iPad can confirm this.
