So I bought a early plasticville people set in the orig box for my grand daughter. the contents of the box has the color suggested printed info, palate with the original paints,a brush, That’s some Old paint! Lol Also in the box there is an Empty insert column for a capped bottle of some kind.
(Trivia )question, what was in the bottle?

was it primer? A thinner? A magic elixir? Alcohol?

I do plan on priming the figures.
My Granddaughter said to me, “there is no such thing as COVID in her plasticville town”
I replied there is a Plasticville hospital in town Just in case help is needed.08F29C3B-A112-44EE-A9E5-94433D9DDCEF3EB04337-5237-4680-8F97-7B1DAADA237E5A90ED86-179C-485C-9405-AE7EABCFC568

I had this kit when I was a kid, and wish they were still available. The bottle contained some kind of thinner. You dipped the point of the brush into the bottle, dabbed a little on the dots and PRESTO! you had paint. There were probably all sorts of carcinogens in the stuff and I'll bet you'd never be able to market the kit today.

I still have some of the figures, and they still look good on the layout.

Off topic, but I love those old oak tables. Any chance of a picture of the table and the legs, please?

I built two of the birds, the scarlet taninger (sp) and the yellow bird with black/white wings. Had to remember to paint the lighter colors first, as the brush tended to foul (nice pun) the thinner.
