Since we were always starving in basic training, SOS tasted fine.

Safe travels Kevin. Trains are wonderful toys, but grandchildren are THE BEST!!!!

Safe travels to all.....plans change?.......it's never too late to join us....the Round-the-Clock folks will accommodate us.

For anyone that might be on the fence about joining us because you think it is a clique and you have to know someone please don't feel that way. Last October was the first time I was able to make it and didn't know any of the guys I was sitting with but was quickly made to feel welcome and had a great time. It's really a great way start the day off before the show.
Thanks again Peter for putting this together.
I’ll be there! Looking forward to seeing everyone. Everyone have a safe trip!

It's a clique...you just won our drawing to be the newbie we pretended to like!
Of course I'm kidding! We were all new at one point. Please don't let not knowing anyone stop you from going. I'll talk to anyone and am easy to find at breakfast or dinner - I'll have a NJ Hi-Railers shirt on with my name stitched on. Don't hesitate to introduce yourself!

Safe travels
See you there

It was my second time there and meeting Bryan after seeing his baseball field was some of the talk at our end of the table. I just wish I could make it this April. I did make poached eggs yesterday, but skipped the waffles(bad of me).
Peter, never have made it to this gathering. But this time will be able to. Wife and I will be there......Paul2
Sorry your going to miss this Dave, we did have a great table last October.
Paul is coming oh man now I might have to rethink about showing up.....just kidding. I'll even save you a seat my friend.
Bryan in Ohio talks about "if anyone is sitting on the fence"...........well, all the Forumites that I've met, and the NJ HiRailers, will push you OFF THE FENCE rather quickly into new friendship(s). I think this will be my second visit to the "Round the Clock Diner" and probably not the last..........hopefully traffic from Frederick, Md will cooperate!
That was me, banished way off to the back corner. Eating Scrapple all by myself.
Just kidding!! Gonna miss you guys this Spring!
Yeah, gonna miss great breakfast conversations Bryan.
In Farmer Bill's picture, you can see the top of my Steamtown hat.
Also, back in October 2017, me and my coworker Bob sat almost all the way in the corner. The reason why was because we took the wrong turn and were already late as it was. I think we got there somewhere closer to 9:30. The place was very crowded, but still had a great breakfast(can't beat the food).
What a great event! I want to thank all the attendees......that what makes the entire York experience a blast.....here are a few pictures.....

Hey, there's some of those guys I know, and some I don't(yet). Great to see the pics Peter. I'm glad to see our good anchorman Allan Miller made it. I just wish I could have been there. I went to see the surgeon yesterday and he says that everything looks good(from my hernia surgery) and that I'll be back to good old me(lifting over 20.lbs) come May 1st. Bring on those heavy trains then
Super event, I decided to go with french toast instead of the scrapple!
We will forgive you this transgression. I didn't get to be a Hokie but my son did!
Sure wish I could have been there with you guys....just thinking about that maple syrup got my mouth watering!!! Unfortunately, I had to stay at OGR World Headquarters to answer phones, wrap up our corporate taxes with our accountants, respond to emails,.....oh boy, lots of fun I probably enjoy this breakfast more that anything else about the York experience....see you all for breakfast in October!
Peter, thanks again for coordinating the breakfast it was so great to reconnect with those of you that I only get to see once a year ( soon to be twice now that I am retiring at the end of the month!). I do look forward to seeing you all again next time and meeting even more new faces. Hope all of you have a great final day at York, travel safe and keep the trains a'rolling!!

I had the pleasure of eating breakfast with Allan Miller on Thursday. We missed you. I mentioned to Allan that I hoped the OGR Corporate 757 jet would be back in service in time for you to make the October meet.

Thanks Gilly....! I am willing to bet that the OGR jet will be all fueled up and ready to go in October! Just have those bottles of maple syrup lined up and ready at the breakfast...!
Thanks again to Peter for organizing! This was one of the better gatherings as everyone was in a talkative mood. The last group of us didn't leave until 10:00.
Can't wait for October!

Thank you for the great photographs, Peter!! I wish I had been able to attend!
See you all in October!
I hope to, Pete!
Peter, wife and I had a great time at the breakfast. Looking forward to the October one and hope to have a chance to be able to talk to more at the next one..........Paul
Had a great time too, driving up from South Jersey - Arrival at 8:20 is almost too late! Met some great folks and enjoyed it, but was one of the last to arrive. Have to make a note of that.
Regards and thanks Pete for setting it up

We were a little late arriving and left early to set up our table, but still had a good time. Thanks, Peter, for setting this up.
