Problems with DZ switch machines?

Six older DZ switch machines have given up the ghost in the last 7 or so months. Some seized, others just won't work right, with the points always ending up bounced open.

I'm wondering what the life expectancy is on these DZs? We've over 40 in use in the layout and are hoping we're not heading into "end of life" for these switch machines.

Running them on 14v from the Z4000.

What is your experience with them?
