I have a Veranda Turbine to upgrade to PS3. I recall seeing a few have created a harness for this type of installation. Could someone help me with the wiring. I have two kits and a PS3 slave board ready to install. I just don't want to damage a board by installing incorrectly. I have searched the tech manual and cannot find a wiring diagram for a unit with a slave.

The PS/3 slave boards only persisted for a few years when PS/3 came out, then they transitioned to having any powered unit having it's own PS/3 board. I don't think there was ever a kit for a master/slave for PS/3.
John, that is correct. I’m looking for a wiring diagram to install the two boards master/slave in the turbine. I read where a few have made their own harness to accomplish this. The two kits I have are two 50-1912 upgrade kits and a slave board. I was told I could use the wiring from both to do the installation.
Maybe George @GGG can help you, I've never seen a schematic for the master/slave configuration.
I have done the PS-2 slaves. I have not created a PS-3 slave. Why not make both units PS-3 diesel and run as Lashup/MU? Do you have a PS-3 slave board? it is different than PS-2.
You need tach in PS-3 slave. Need to add a data line from PS-3 board to go over harness to the slave. G
GGG did the same for me with my F3 A-B sets: make both units PS-3 diesel and run as Lashup/MU. Pass/Freight sounds come out of the lead unit.
Works great in conventional mode too -
I have more for GGG to do too!
I've done several multi-unit PS/3 upgrades, I always use the full PS/3 board in each unit. I have a slave board spare, but I've never had a use for it.
