So is it just me or why does it seem that all my older PS-2 engines run better (more reliably) than my newer PS-3 engines. The PS-3 ones often lose their lashup info and will randomly start up without being addressed. No problems with PS-2

I run conventionally and think that nothing is as smooth at low speeds as a PS3 loco.
