Alright, I'm in for some fun here. I'm making a PRR M1B tender for my AutoCAD class at school and I want to make it 1/48 Scale. What are the measurements of the Lionel M1B tender, length, width and height? I'd like everything including the small little angles for the coal section. I want to make this as close as I can to the Lionel Model. I have been using pictures of the real tender and the Lionel model during the design process but I want to make sure its right before I get too far.

How do you know the Lionel model is right? You really should go to the PRRT&HS (Pennsylvania RR Technical & Historical Society) website and see if you can a drawing for the prototype tender.
I will check there. I figured using the Lionel model would be good for the measurements. But you're right, drawings of the prototype are very useful too.

I found one: http://prr.railfan.net/diagram...te&sz=sm&fr=
That would be the tender built for the M1A/B. It has the major dimensions and you can probably interpolate better from there. The M1Bs were modified from M1A. I think the modifications were internal and not visible. The visible modifications would have been a result of the same shopping, but not the purpose.
True. I built it today in school, it looks great.
