I have here on my bench a 5279 Diecast Hudson and diecast tender. It runs slowly and has one tender red lamp out. The story is this thing hit the floor. I don't yet see any damage from the fall. What year is this and are the rear red lamps available? I am hoping the chassis isn't tweaked. I can only run this thing conventional. Is that maybe why it runs slow?

Try running it upside down with test leads, I think the fall may have bent part of the drive train which you should notice with it inverted.

The engine ran fine with higher voltage. The fall broke off the right front marker /classification lamp and someone glued a post war replacement on, ruining the lighted green marker lamps. Has anyone ever replaced the tender led's on the back?
