Hi all. I noticed something odd on ebay today. I hadn't seen an MTH GE Hybrid except one that was on last week. But it's been only one that I have seen. Today I noticed about 3-4 of them brand new ready to ship in about a week. So I decided to check MTH website and low and behold they just released this set again as of last week. I called Jason Trains where I preordered and that just got some in this morning. Mines will be shipping out on Monday.

In fact the new Taurus Euro Train as well was released.

Hi Allan, Borderman01, or any other forum member with this locomotive,

Could you post video of this loco so we could see those charging lights and hear those "cool sounds"? Since my LHS doesn't stock it, a video would help with decision whether to order one.

Thanks,

May have forgotten to mention that this set is my first diesel set besides subway sets. I do like subway sets but also am interested in the diesel sets as well. In fact my wife plans on getting me one for Christmas. my first choice would be the mth dap ns business. But they are so rare that is not going to happen for awhile. So I am down to choices I really liked. The premier Pennsylvania ps 3 f7 or premier Milwaukee road f7. I think I'm leaning over the Pennsylvania set.

>>>If Lionel would re-release their GE demo unit, it would certainly cool the jets of turkeys looking to turn quick profits on them.<<

They'd be better off to reissue it in less expensive ABS like their new NS heritage units.

99.9% of the folks who want it in diecast already have it.

History has shown The other .01% who watch the secondary market and complain about valuations & missed opportunity are the crybabies who wouldn't buy if it were reissued. Which brings up a question for anyone who might know. I have the diecast BNSF ES44 and it has the same smoke/sound sleep feature as the GE EVO which is wrong.

Since I'm interested in the PRR ES44 unit, My question is, will the new NS ES44's have the same smoke/sound sequence as the diecast ES44's?

Joe
