Thanks guys,
The retaining wall is just layers of 1/2" styrofoam cut with a hot wire knife.

Awesome work! And nice to see a layout at this stage of construction. I like what you did with the Lionel Arch bridge(girders). Nice to see inspiration come alive on your layout "canvas".
Keep the updates coming....

Well done!

That is a neat looking building, Steve!
Steve, the details really make that wonderful building come to life!! Thank you for sharing the Photographs!
I looked back at your progress in early part of 2017 and the photos of the stone bridge expanse. That is an awesome piece of work and the colors are really well done.
The Esso facility looks great!!
As always, another great layout addition.
Walter
I always like RS3s! Great looking train!!
Steve C,
Hay that bunch you had over for running trains, I seem to remember seeing a couple of those guys in the post office wanted posters, this has always been a dangerous hobby according to Dr Oz.
Just kidding all the best guys.
Watching 12+ inches of snow fall gave me some motivation to work on the layout. I found an old grain silo kit under the table and thought it would be good to hide a column with. I added a siding and rough placed the silo. It should be a good fit after the road is re routed.
The mill was on the other side of the layout but I think this will be it's new home.
I always liked the operating cars and wanted to find a place for them on the layout. (kids love to push buttons)
This could be a good spot for some cattle fencing. I think the milk platform will also be on this siding.
A little cutting and the Gargraves track snaps right in like the old 027.
The nice grain silo does a great job hiding that column!! Your accessories are fitting in nicely too!
Great. Way to integrate the accessories into the layout!
Lookin' really good!

Wow! Nice layout and changes!
Have all the changes been working out as you hoped they would?
So far Henry.
Steve Great layout, BTW that RS-3needs a little weathering. Any thoughts of getting back into the weathering business?
Thanks Steve,
I still weather for friends and old customers. If you need something done let me know.
Once your hobby becomes work it's no longer a hobby.
Steve,
Everything is looking great. When they say a layout is never done, I think much of that has to do with the addition of trees, lol. You can never have enough.
Dave
The trees look great planted on your layout!!
