Are Rail King and Bachmann remotes compatible?

Toy train remotes are not like the remotes for a TV or stereo. Every company tends to design theirs on a totally different system than the others.
I can't think of any remote that Bachmann makes that would be compatible with PS/2. However, if you happen to have a PS/3 RailKing engine, you can run it with a DCC rig.
Bachmann's remote is just for use with the Bachmann/Williams operating cars!
No other remote will work with Bachmann/Williams! Not even the older Williams remote.
The older K-Line remotes work only with K-Line cars.
For any MTH engine, I would recommend the DCS system & TIU to get the best results.
O gauge is a little old fashioned in remote control systems. Everybody has their own set-up!
H.O. is more universal with command control stuff.
