replace trucks on 027 rolling stock

MacdsOGR Forum Member DIGITAL SUBSCRIBER

I would like to replace the Lionel trucks on some O-27 circa 1950 rolling stock with MTH Bettendorf trucks 30-89001. Looking at the packaging there is no hardware to attach the trucks to the old rolling stock. Any recommendations?

Local hardware store should have small machine screws to fit. I think they're either 1/8" or 3mm. Assuming you're replacing bar or staple end trucks held in with horseshoe clips, you'll also have to drill the mounting holes out a bit.
