Reset code for TMCC Crane's Boom Car?

I fired up my ATSF Command Crane for the first in several months and it now has a peculiar problem. When I press the shut down icon on my Legacy remote the Boom Car does not shut down but instead the crane swivels. The last time I played with it the shut down feature worked.

What would cause this strange behavior?
Is there a reset code for the boom car? (I did not find one in the manual)
