This is a very fine effort. What luck that it escaped the scrap yard.
Those videos were made a couple of years ago and they certainly did show progress, at the time. Does anyone know if further progress has been made towards getting it to run on it's own? What remains to be completed?
I would suspect that those hydraulic transmissions would really be a bear to get rebuilt and operational. Were the transmissions installed in the trucks themselves or were they on the carbody and connected through driveshafts, ala Budd RDC's? Never did see a cutaway drawing of those engines.
