MTH #20-98449 PRR 41 foot flatcar
This MTH Premier model was released in 2005. It included 2 Green Ertl '32 Roadsters. The roadsters are diecast metal and plastic. The diecast cars were attached to the car with plastic ties and elastic bands.
Since it did not seem logical to transport 2 roadsters on a flatcar it was decided to remove the cars. It was particularly difficult to remove the cars from the flatcar in that it required the use of wire cutter pliers and scissors to release the tie-downs and elastic bands. Next the use of sandpaper and a small drill was needed to release the plastic "wheel stops"which were cemented to the body. Care was taken not to damage the flatcar body in the process.
