Does anyone run RMT PEEP Mini Madison Passenger cars? I was thinking about hooking up four of these to a Southern 0-4-0 Switcher and tender. I am wondering how it would look. Any ideas?

Actually, the train in the photos reminds me of Chuggington. PEEPs are fun, although about the most un-scale thing i can think of.
Yes, I have the Halloween peeps. They are really awesome with passenger figures and lighting.
I will try to post a pic if I can find one.

Lee, I think you may have hit on something here. A new forum titled "UNSCALE". It could be for anyone who does not follow convention. Bob S.
These always remind me of a similar product that Walthers offered around 40 or so years ago. As I recall, they were kits. Anybody else remember them?
In HO Walthers had two the Oscar and the Piker(?) One had an observation platform and they rode on one six wheeled truck.

Hi Bob • Looks like a fun train for any type of layout. I am a Toy Train Layout, and I will have to add this to my bucket list.

I built an Oscar back in the day. One of my favorite cars. It was the motivation for me picking up a set of Walter's Peeps.

We would love to see some pics of this consist you have put together Bob.
Walther's had the 'Oscar' as a coach and 'Piker' as an Observation. Yes they were kits in, I think, both O and HO. I built a pair too many years ago.
RMT added the baggage car and it is named 'Felix'.
Oscar, Felix...madison type cars...get it?
Running together, they make a truly 'odd couple' of cars.
Still have a few sets left...NYC, B&O, SANTA FE, Christmas, Halloween and UNDEC/Pullman Green.
When these are gone there will be no more.
Thanks.
Walter/RMT
Are there any current coupons for RMT currently?
Currently no coupons, but prices expected to increase after March 1st on RMT items. Orders received by midnight on Friday will keep existing pricing.
Thanks.

They reissued them in a ready to run set about 15 years ago. I liked running them behind my little Mantua 4-4-0.
Now I have the full set of the RMT peeps in Santa Fe colors, riding behind the RMT mini F-3s. Can't really explain it, I just get a kick out of them.
If you like "fun" more than scale fidelity, it's hard to beat a set of these, along with the ABA Beefs engines. I've got the ABA Santa Fe set with these Peeps, and they absolutely haul that taters on anything over 6 volts. Super fun for conventional! Probably the only thing I have that I run at really high speeds.
