I had this site marked from way back in rec.model.railroads.  I always enjoyed this railroad, as it fit into a 16x12 foot space.  Once again, there are a lot of great design elements here, lots of switching, staging, and great proto-ops. 


Roger dismantled his old layout in 2010, and is in the process of building another layout that I'm sure will be even better. 

 

I also love what Roger does with off the shelf Bachmann and Proto2000 steam.  Tender bashes, added detail on the locomotives, and it makes for a different appearance and unique motive power for the Great Eastern, with the exception of his 2-10-2s, which have a CN / CV look to them (which I really like).
