IMG_4197IMG_4198Hi All,  I just bought a new in box unopened MTH Explorer off the Bay for my entry into limited use of DCS on my mid-size 15x17 conventional layout.   I can probably figure out the setup and can download the app to start playing around... but apparently these don't come with the "wall wart" transformer to power it.   Can someone who has this post pics of the CORRECT power supply or a link on AMAZ or Bay to one I can buy.  My conventional layout is powered by one large Lionel ZW-L.  I figured this would be powered by a "wall wart" type.  No?   Thanks!!!

MTH recommended the Z1000 as the ideal power supply due to the Explorer having an input rating of 6 amps. Another good fit are older laptop power supplies, I recycled one from a gateway laptop that was rated for 90 watts of power (19 volts DC & 4.75 amps).

You can also use just about anything you want as long as you have the appropriate barrel connector. The Explorer has current limiting protection that will cut power when the output goes beyond 5 amps. The explorer will operate with AC or DC power up to 20 volts.
