I have a WBB O27 B&O Hudson pulling a 4-pack of WBB O27 streamlined passenger cars. All blue, nice looking train, but it's a short train. WBB did not make any add-ons for this 4-pack to my knowledge, so I'm looking to add one piece to it.

I don't mind the idea of a mixed train with a freight car, but was thinking an REA car would be more appropriate. The problem is that they're green and don't look good with this all blue train.

I know it's my layout and I can run what I want, but running "the right things" provides some educational topics for guests.

Any suggestions on a blue, gray, silver, or complementary-colored car that would look good? I was thinking maybe something like the red, white, and blue US Mail car that Lionel sold with the O27 Santa Fe streamliners.

Thanks.

Ding ding ding, I think we have a winner already.  I'll do an eBay search. What is that? Lionel? WBB? K-Line?  Is it semi-scale (6464 size or similar)?

Very nice. Great recommendations guys.  Now I just have to find one. Those are a perfect match.

I'm not "Mr. Prototypical" by any stretch, Heck, I even have a train with pastel cars headed by a pink girls engine and tender   . But, for example, I don't use my PRR Pacific with freight cars since it was only/predominantly did passenger service.

Weaver has made a number of blue and gray 40' scale boxcar that would look great heading a passenger train.   If you get one go to your local tire store and get a small strip of discarded wheel weights bring them home and wash them off then hot glue them to the floor inside the car.

Just found one that went up for sale in the last day or two on eBay.  My guess at this price it's been re-listed several times.  https://www.ebay.com/itm/K-LIN...b:g:FB8AAOSwT2daKZ37

I never pay $50 shipped for a piece of rolling stock unless it's from a brick-and-mortar LHS near me and I'm supporting a local business, so this one isn't happening. Will keep my eye out. Thanks everyone for the suggestion. Looks like the perfect solution.
