RRTracks is a great track planning program, but it hasn't been updated for Standard Gauge in years.  Let's all give them a push!

When can we expect the Standard Gauge track library to be updated to include USA Track LLC, Ross Custom Switches and MTH Electric Trains sectional track?  These companies are, and have been for several years, the source of all new track being used by today's Standard Gauge enthusiasts.  I would like to purchase the new version of RRTracks, but it is useless without this update.

USA Track LLC provides traditional tinplate track in 42, 57, 72, 84 and 87 diameter curves, and 7, 14 and 36 inch length straights. ("1/2" 42 curves also offered.)

Ross Custom Switches offers 72 diameter and #4 switches

MTH Electric Trains offers both traditional and plastic roadbed Standard Gauge track.

Here are the actual dimensions of the curved rails used in the products above:

(Centerline diameters indicated in red.   42, 57, 72 and 87 curve tracks result in concentric circles that are on exact 7-1/4" centers.)

Well RR-Track's current version (V.5.02) has the following Standard Gauge track listed for use in designing your layout/s:

Straight: 7", 10.5", 14", 28" and 36"

Curve: 42", 57", 72", 84", 87", 96", 108", and 144" diameters

Switches: Lionel 42", MTH 72", Rydin 84" and 144"

BTW My v.4.02 copy has all the the curves except for new 57" and 87" diameters.

I was misled by the current RRTracks website listing of the contents of the Standard Gauge library, which says it is for Lionel and Rydin.  It actually contains those plus the new curve diameters offered by USA Track LLC.  The Ross wide radius (72) switch dimensions match the MTH wide radius switch, but the Ross #4 switch is not in the library.  I wish they would properly label the manufacturer of the track sections so people would feel confident in using the program to design layouts with currently manufactured track.
