Well Lee, I apologize its not Sunday anymore but I just added these KLINE Santa Fe passenger cars and I could not resist teaming them up with my Lionel Alco War Bonnet.  The Alco is the #212 from 1960-64 and the KLINE cars are from somewhere around 2007.  Anyway they are new to me and I thought they looked good together.  I am posting some additional pictures of the cars on "Buy Anything New Today" thread.

@Don McErlean, Wow, that’s a beautiful Sante Fe passenger train, really cool layout, and an awesome passenger station behind the train. Since my pictures didn’t come through yesterday, (thank you Chuck) I’m two days late but better late than never. This is a fun to review thread. Happy Railroading Everyone

@leapinlarry - Larry thanks for the compliment.  I did note when I visited your layout that we shared the use of the pre-war Lionel 115 station...I think its cool sharing that one little detail, certainly for me!  Great pictures as well.

Santa Fe at the TMB on Long Island

Well, Yellowstone Park's summer season has ended. Therefore my Union Pacific Yellowstone Special train no longer runs up to West Yellowstone, since its last trip was the day after Labor Day. So, it has been replaced on my layout with the Santa Fe Super Chief back in the saddle again and sporting a new MTH express reefer car.

SF Horse Express car / Sunset Models Brass 2014

I posted this everywhere else across this forum, so why not here today?

And to not be so repetitive, something a little different.  A few of my now 13 year old daughter's cars from when she was still interested in trains at age 7.

And finally time to conduct some business.

Running my new Lionel Legacy 2-8-0 Consolidation, AT&SF No. 2535, along with the Lionel 120th F3 LionChief+ 2.0 set diesels pulling a streamline passenger train.

Well I seem to be starting off this weekend for SFSun and I normally don't have much to post here.  But recently at a local train show since I am a tank car fiend, I found this Santa Fe tank car.  This Lionel # 81202 from 2014-2015.  It is a deluxe car with die cast sprung trucks and frame plus metal ladders, handrails, and platform around the dome.  Its a configuration that Lionel used to call a "chemical tank car" because of the platform around the dome.  This gal was still sealed in her box and internal plastic fitted shroud and still had the hobby store sticker price of $70 on the outside box.  Well I bought her for $10 so I guess that does not say too much for us collectors who still think all toy trains "appreciate" in value! 

By the way, the small letters under the large printing of "Shock Control" say..."gives freight a smoother ride".

The bridge work is from a buddy that made the truss rail from is metal shop.   Think in 4’ sections.   Similar type of truss rail that you can buy.   Base is simply 1/2” solid wood (cant remember what I actually used).    Then I sprayed it with a base of std rust primer then used AK rust spray (which I also sprayed the atlas bridge with). Closest rust spray paint I have found.    Great stuff but not cheap.   Them some pigment for a little weather with dull coat.   Still could use more weathering.   Thanks for the comments.  Lot more to do with it.

Nothing too special, but some of my head end equipment so my passenger trains actually turn a profit.  They never will with the number of passengers supplied by the manufacturers!

Or for that fact did anyone like williams make one?

I` just purchased a Williams AB black bonnet & wanted to know does anyone know of a set available on the forum?

A Legacy Santa Fe T-1b Berkshire from 2012  pulling a mix of Lionel and MTH tank cars.

Santa Fe purchased 10 T-1a Berks from the Boston and Main during WWII when there was a motive power shortage.

This is a first modest video posting for me. MTH Premier SF F7 AB and caboose, Lionel, SF TOFC, Weaver Campbell 66 Express, all reefers Atlas.

Those MTH F7’s in blue are spot-on, and seem to be rare in the I gauge world. I have an ABBA set I ran at the Lone Star Hi-Railers layout years ago…that video is somewhere on the forum. The PS3 versions that finally lost those bothersome tethers are great models.  Truly like your video.
