Very nice for 60 yrs old.
First on the turntable. Click on the triangle for a Photobucket video.
Hi Mike,
Who made the turn table, looks nice.
Western Allegheny, I don’t have to worry about the mid matched reds.

I don't believe I ever said this before. But when I was giving up N scale and looking into HO or O scale as my new endeavor into Model Railroading. It was here at OGR that my interest was tingled, but it was a video by Mike with the Grain Elevator that was the final decision to go with O scale. I hope one day Mike will do a video tour of his layout. He's also got a great farm scene that brings back memories also.

Thank you. Mike CT.
Do you guys enjoy the "track talk" (or whatever Lionel calls it) that comes with your H10?

Diamond Scale Products. OT 105 Turntable, 29+ inches. It is a kit that I bought used. I also used a lot of Diamond Scale parts for a scratch built fabricated larger turntable, Fort Pitt Highrailers.
Here is my Western Allegheny version.

Western Allegheny. I may have dropped too much fluid in the whistle. Any recommendations?

Hi Joe,
I have the same H10. Love the Western Allegheny rendition vs. the others.
As per your smoke unit. Usually just waiting a few days, even over night, should help dry some of the fluid you put into it. Try not too use it too much as the fluid can damage the smoke motor if it gets inside, not to mention what it can do to the electronics inside. I would try this first but it requires patience.
Now if that doesn't seem to be working you might have severely flooded the unit and really, the only way to fix it would be to take the boiler off and drying the smoke unit by hand.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the pics and video...
I pre-ordered the Western Allegheny but still waiting for it to arrive
First Lionel Legacy engine for me so looking forward to giving it a run
Great engines, & videos. Mine are in the mail. Long Island and western Allegheny. Can’t wait!

The new Lionel Legacy H10 is pretty hard to beat as well. Mine has surprisingly good smoke, and all the features work properly. I know it's not prototypical, but he swinging bell is simply cool! The sound is great, it managed to pull 30 cars without any struggle, I think it's a keeper at $600!
Of course, it's been said that it's really an H9, and if you look at the builder's plate, son of a gun, they're right!
An unpainted engineering/production sample that I used to own. Note all of the brass details. I traded this to Tom for the CLW H-10 pictured above.
Legacy Western Allegheny rendition. Great engine. No problems so far.
