The St Joe Valley Model Railroad Club is located in Mishawaka, Indiana, and will hold its semi-annual swap meet and train show on October 26 at the Fireman's Union Hall, 4025 Lincoln Way W, South Bend, Indiana. The Hall is on South Bend's West Side, convenient to the the Indana Toll Road, SB Regional Airport, fast food, and best of all NS and South Shore Line railfanning. Hours are 10-3, $4.00 admission fee or $8.00 family admission.
The SJV Club has been active since 1964 with large HO layouts in several locations. The Club is now developing a sectional O layout which will eventually go around the walls of a 28x32 foot room. The layout will have O 3 rail, O 2 rail, On30 and Traction components. A modular N scale layout is planned to occupy space in the same room, and the club's large HO layout is still in service as well. The club layouts are housed at the old NYC Freight Station at 400 South Main Street (along the NS ex-NYC Main Line) in downtown Mishawaka, Indiana. Usual club hours are 7-9 Wednesdays and Fridays unless one of those days precedes a holiday.
