Years ago there was a hobby shop in Smithville and then he moved. Does anyone have a current phone number for his place. The number I found said out of service. Is he still in business. Any help greatly appreciated...........Paul

Didn't he used to set up in Ohio shows? I ordered stuff from him in the past, but
probably just have that old number, too.

He was located in the old train station in Smithville and probably not enough business to afford the rent there. I heard he moved to his farm located in Burbank, Ohio, just south of Lodi, Ohio near I-71 and Rte. 83. Might be Charlie just sells out of his home now. Burbank is just a cross roads town, in the country.
Thanks for the feedback. I tried a Google search but all had the same phone number. I am planning to go to the Firelands show in Mansfield on Saturday. Maybe by chance he will be set up there......................Paul
I used to go there with my Dad about ten years ago or so. A hunt for a rail king flat had led us there and we found it and a whole lot of other goodies. Was a great shop and the owner (Lucky?) was super friendly (he set the bar high for customer service).
I bought a set of Rail King ABA's on my 21st birthday (was my first locomotive purchase) and he threw in a boxcar to go with it. He didn't have to do that, but it was a super nice gesture.
If he's in Burbank, and still open I'll have to check it out when I get back to Ohio next.
I am sorry to say he is closed. Did not have enough customers at his shop at the farm.
