Smoke element

I’m sure it’s the standard 27 ohm from Lionel. 

Thanks Rod,  but I tried a 27 ohm and it only gets loop warm.  Not hot enough to produce smoke.

I checked and it is 27 ohm. All the original puffer units use the 27 ohm. Hopefully one of the repair guys can help figure out what is wrong. Try holding down the #9 boost button in the cab 1 to see if it smokes better. No more than 3 seconds though. I’m assuming you run TMCC or Legacy.

I must have a bad board because the resistor I have is a 27 but it only gets loop warm.  I tried bumping the smoke increase key but there is no change.  Thanks for the help!
