Smoke on/off

Yes it does not say which direction

If you can hear the smoke unit fan it's ON.... If not it's off.    You may have to turn the sound off to hear the fan.

better than Lionel, their's says in tiny letters  "smoke" and "on" next to the switch, if you look at it upside down it looks like "smoke and "no". could be confusing
