Hi-I want to install a Lionel 8057-200 smoke unit into an older locomotive. Does anyone know the part number for the 3 pin connector on this smoke unit. thanks

It's a common JST-EH 2.5mm connector, readily available at Digikey or Mouser.
I thought I'd get a few. I couldn't find on their site. I did find jst-xh on another site. Would those work?
No, they are JST-EH connectors, the JST-XH are the same pitch but NOT compatible.
I don't know why you couldn't find them, I just typed JST EH into the Digikey search box, specified in stock, and I got this list.
JST EH Housing In Stock at Digikey
Looks like they have 72,000 of the 3-position shells in stock.
You have an issue with your browser is all I can imagine.
I clicked on my first link and I get this.
I clicked on my second link and I get this.

Got it! Your first post you didn't have the R at the end. The second post I used your first link. I didn't see the second link. Thanks for taking the time GRJ.
Train nut, don’t forget to scroll down and get the jumpers unless you have the ability to crimp your own.

I guess I don't understand, I only posted one set of links, and both links in that post work.
In any case, it's not important anymore since you have found what you were looking for.
Like Ron says, you need the pins if you're going to make this cable.
Grj- that's the problem. It was a set. And my tired old eyes didn't see the other link. 😁
Rod - thanks for pointing that out. I probably would have tried to make my own and crimp them with a pair of needle-nose pliers. We all know how that goes!
Thanks both of you.
The Engineer PA-09 Crimp Tool works really well for a variety of JST connectors, use it for all my TMCC/Legacy work except the 1.25mm connectors.
I believe I have the harness in stock if you only need one. Drop a line.
