I've been making slow but steady progress on my residential neighborhood. Its based off of Chicago's North Side.

Thanks for looking. It took me all summer to finish the street scene and I still need to add some more details. All the building in the street scene (the two flats and apartment buildings in the background) are scratchbuilt. I cast the windows out of resin which really sped up constuction. Of course everyone has the same basic style of windows, but I just say the replacement window salesman just rolled through town.

CTA Fan the pictures and scene look great; thanks for sharing. Picture #6 - taken from track level - that appartment window in the tan building to the left just needs someone leaning out of it for some reason. Just my thoughts, for what its worth.

That is as nice a Chicago layout as I have ever seen. From the weathering on the el to the architecture of the apartment buildings, you've really nailed it. Good job.

I thought that EL looked great, but as you add the scenery around it, it just pulls everything together. Nice work.
