Ok, but what are you going to do after you run out of cabooses to build????

Would you please share with us your rebuild of your far more accurate AtlasO SW? That was quite a teaser set of photos at the start of the discussion thread. Major parts of the die cast radiator area and fan intake are gone (as they must be) and the roof of the cab is no longer 5" thick scale armor plate.

Go, Brother!

Hello Malcolm,

I just returned home after great visit with Dave Minarik and Sam at his Mercer Junction Train Shoppe.  We spoke at length about our local railroads including the Union Railroad and the Bessemer & Lake Erie Railroad which Dave models.  He told me about the custom made Union Railroad unique "shorty" cabooses that you made for him several years ago.  He also said that you might still have a few unbuilt ones left.  If you do,  I would be interested in having a couple built for me.  Let me know when you have a chance either here on the forum or through my e-mail in my profile and we can discuss it further.

Thanks,

Nick

i didn't know the man was sick.

i guess its because i don't do scratch-building.

i'm glad he's better anyway.

rip track

(whenever i'm at a checkout counter and the clerk asks "how are you today?", i say "i'm feeling better", and the clerk usually asks, "were you ill?", then i say "no, i'm just feeling better anyway.")
