So I've mentioned before that I have several subway sets and commuter cars I'd like to sell (R-21/6-CARS) (R-17 Graffiti/4-Cars) (R-40/4-Cars) and original Atlas O  Comet II (West of Hudson MNRR Commuter Cars w/black ban around windows /2 toned M Logo) also have an R-36 set (not sure If I want to part with that one though) For the past few weeks I have been studying the Ebay market trying to see how I can appropriately, but fairly price the sets so it could be a more so even exchange (all sets are mint/never operated so I'd like to sell them for what their worth), but I've noticed sets that people used to go crazy over aren't so popular any more, for example the R21's,R32's and R36's used to commonly be the center of bidding wars and now I see listings where they don't sell at all. R-17 graffiti cars are super anemic in their sales as I've seen one go for 500.00 and another go for as low as 250.00 (I'm guessing because it was used) My ultimate question is can someone tell me what currently constitutes as rare hard to find sets vs common sets....and I know no one here is an appraiser, but I'm very curious to know once I put these sets up for sale what are the estimated price points I should start them at, any help would be greatly appreciated.
