Well, I haven't started one of these since last year.
Still working on the diner interior.

That looks really great.
I admire the attention to detail that you put into all your modeling.
That looks so good. Waiting to see what your short order cook looks like or Rosie the waitress.
Thanks, Guys!
The stools are made from push-pins. They are a bit clunky looking but look good when the walls are in place and you can't really see them.
Wow - absolutely amazing. Cool detail.
Where did you get all of those little castings (if you do not mind me asking)?
I have been working on buildings in the downtown area of my layout. All are lighted with LED, but are not hooked up to the BUSS wires yet. The colors in the photos turned out a bit bright (used the iPhone), they are not that bright in person. Still need to add the stairs and roofs to the El Terminal. They are complete, but I wait to put them on until after the El rail and station platforms are installed.

Castings? We don't need no stinkin' castings!
It's all scratchbuilt. And, of course, I don't mind you asking.
Layout's looking good, Jeff.
Looks good guys...
Awesome Job Vulc...........
Probably one of the worst photo's I've ever taken, and I've taken some bad one's...
This is an area of my layout that is almost impossible to scenic in place, so I cut a piece of ceiling tile to fit so I could work on it at my table. I'm working on a couple kits at the moment and want to see how they'll fit before I finish them.
Again, the worst pic. I think I've taken, but you get the idea.
Very nice work guy's. Thanks for sharing with us.
truly great work,
Vulcan I'll take fries with that Burger!! almost expect to see Mel, Alice and Flo working the joint

Vulcan... I'm not sure if I should point this out or not, but, compared to your usual projects... this one is, well, clean. I don't see a single spot of dirt, distressed wood, or rust.
Awesome job!
Great work everyone. Thank you for sharing

I don't know look at the kitchen door. But I have to admit that was a mistake that I decided not to fix.
Wow! I did not "see" this. In my mind's eye, the door looked absolutely normal and I completely missed it... like a Jedi mind trick. You're good....
The details are fantastic! Terry
