It's Switcher Saturday Time!!!! (1 day early)
Lots of us out there love switchers (shifters, docksiders, yard goats, critters, etc.),
so lets keep #SwitcherSaturday (a.k.a. SWSAT) rolling!
This post marks our 4yr anniversary of SWSAT, what a great four years it's been!
Here is the link to the first ever Switcher Saturday:

And if you missed last week's SWSAT, you should go take a look, there was some great stuff posted!

My pictures this week are of my NYC #1665 (Lionel 0-4-0), which was the switcher that I used for that first SWSAT (the first picture is from tonight, the second from 4yrs ago).
Anyway, this little switcher gets lots of exercise around my home layout, it's fairly simple but it's always fun.
I'm posting early because tomorrow morning I need to wake up early and head to the Greenberg Train show in Fredericksburg VA. The club I belong to is setting up our modular layout, so I'll be pretty darn busy.
Enjoy your weekend and when you get a chance - please post some switcher stuff here!
You know the rules:
1. if it's related to switchers (model switchers, prototypes, critters, switching yards, switching layouts) - we want to see it! Videos, Pics, Stories (true or fictional), poems, whatever!
2. if you miss the post on Saturday? NO BIG DEAL, just keep posting pictures of your favorites until the next #SwitcherSaturday
3. keep it friendly - we want this to be fun. (we haven't had any problems with grumpy trolls, I'd like to keep it that way)
All the best...Rich Murnane
