I have an Atlas SW8 with a TAS board that looks like it was made specifically for EMD SW and NW type switchers. The outline of the board follows the hood shape even getting narrower at the cab end.

I am looking for a manual for this board. The problem I am having with this is lack of prime mover and crew talk sounds. I know some of the other TAS boards have a mute or Trainsounds/Railsounds connector that will kill these sounds but its not obvious if this board has the same connector. Horn and bell work.

Other than TAS printed on the board there is no other identification of what it is.

Any tips appreciated.

Sounds like you're talking about the bottleneck board, I have one in my parts box.  Mine is labeled...

Train America Studios

Bottle Neck R2

The switch you see hanging out is soldered to the audio board contacts, presumably to switch RS/SS.  None of the connectors perform that function.

Can't you just trace out the appropriate pins to see where the RS audio board connects?
