Just wanted to say thanks to all that post and what a great resource this forum is.

Yesterday after much trepidation, I attempted and successfully completed, converting the wiring of a Williams GP7 from parallel to series.  Those of us that run Williams know what great pullers they are but that when it comes to switching they are frustrating to say the least.  They only have two speeds out of the box, fast and super fast.

I am very intimidated by circuit boards, resisters, wires, and the rest of the crap you see when you take the shell off, but thanks to this forum and a "Williams for Idiots" post by SunfireGT1996,  i was able to do actually do it myself without throwing up!  His photo bucket post was informative, clear, and made it look easy enough that a dummy like me felt comfortable enough to give it a go.

I know some of you can do something like this with your eyes closed, and every week i admire the great topics (and some not so great) that i read here.  Just want to say thanks for the help.  You never know when a post is going to help a fellow reader.
