With all of the delivery issues being reported, I thought it fitting to report some good news. This is a birthday present to myself and it is just what I wanted:
I received my Lionel Legacy UP SD70ACe #6-84106 today from Train World, well packed and in perfect condition. It looks great and runs great!
This beautiful engine made the journey from China to the East Coast and then finally to the West Coast! The shipping box from Lionel was packed in an outer box by Train World with a good amount of packing materials in between to cushion the ride West to CA.
It gets even better: Since the engine was from the 2016 Volume 2 Catalog and I did not have one, Train World included a copy for me in the box!
