Going through an old Trains magazine January 1984 found this picture!
With all the talk about the 611 coming out of retirement and everyone knows the 765 around here thought it was a nice picture to post!

You can see that face-to-face event happen ON VIDEO in this DVD.
And you can see 765 doubleheaded with 611 in THIS VIDEO.
I saw 765 in a book at the town library in my hometown. I don't remember who did the pictures. I remember one with 765 pulling freight on the TP&W. The picture was shot at sundown. After all this time I can still remember that picture.
The later steam locomotives such as 765 and 611 did it all. Pull a fast passenger train and then pull freight. And from time to time pull a broke down diesel locomotive.
