So I have a chuff switch from ERR, but would like more magnets. Is there a place I can buy them from on the Market or do I have to buy them from ERR.

I just sent you an email. Thanks
If you are going to York, check DAllee Electronics. They sell tiny magnets for that purpose. However, you can’t beat Alex M’s offer.

I will keep that in mind, but I did take Alex's offer.
Here is a supplier: Apex magnets
Of course, there's an alternative to magnets that keep falling off the wheels...

I'm planning on doing that at some point but I'm waiting to get some money to get both the chuff generator and super chuffer. I had a magnet and a chuff switch and wanted to make a temporary set up till I get one.
If you are coming to York, we normally have specials on these, so you can save a little money.
I will be there so I will stop by the booth.
What ever size or shape you need is on eBay. Here are two searches top for magnets and the bottom for reed switches. I used to use the 1mm X 5mm round disk magnets but have switched to 1mm X 5mm X 10mm These rectangular magnets allow you to mount them in different orientations to control the length of time the switch is closed. Such as the long dimension pointed towards the center of the wheel gives a shorter duration vs the long side running along the circumference of the wheel giving a longer duration. The change in orientation affects the sound enough that if you have two identical locos you will be able to tell the difference between the two locos. One nice thing about Gunrunnerjohn's superchuffer is that you can control the duration of the chuff via his electronics so you can try it at different settings and choose which you like best. Then you may easily change it without having to pry magnets loose after gluing them to the drive wheels. j
I used to get them at K&J Magnetics. I don't use them hardly at all anymore, so I probably have a lifetime supply. If you're buying them, get the N52 strength, they work better for the task.
