Yesterday, Sunday June 11th, was our second track laying session in Como. As you can see we made a lot more progress laying track towards the turntable pit. We also had a bobcat that removed a post-1938 hill blocking the mainline grade. And worked progressed on making the stub switch, in front of the depot, functional.
The next work session is Saturday, June 24th at 9:30 am. All are welcome!

Quite an endeavor! After I read your first post, I began looking at the type of tools and equipment needed for track laying. Sheeesh! It still comes down to heavy manual labor.
A great accomplishment to this point! It had to be a treat to have the skid steer available.

Yes it is very hard work for everyone at that altitude but it is very exciting to be putting track back where we thought we would never see it again!
