I received this message from a boyhood friend and was hoping someone on the forum might have related knowledge:
Morning Bruce, I am looking for information regarding a train wreck that happened on March 4th, 1897 in or around Columbus,Ohio. The Engineer and the fireman (Richard Wallace Johns) died as a result of the wreck. A cousin of mine is a relation to Mr. johns and is trying to research the details of the wreck. I am wondering if you may know of a research source that may have that information ? I would appreciate any help you may be able to provide. ...Larry
