My Industrial Rail trolley died and need to replace.....which would you go with....all it needs to do is go 15 feet hit bumper and return. I liked industrial rail but I need one that has some longivity...not a year or so then quit.

The MTH one is decent IMO. Hard for me to get any make to reverse reliably with bumpers. Your old one is the motor burned out or gears stripped perhaps it could be fixed?

I've had an MTH Main Street trolley for about 5 years. No problems whatsoever. Bumps and goes real well even when moving slowly.
Isn't there a wiring system that would let the trolley stop for a few seconds and then go the other way? I have seen this at some train shows but did not ask about it because I was not interested at the time. Wish I had asked.
I have the MTH and Lionel bumper trolley cars and the MTH Rail King bumper trolley is way better. The MTH car runs slower, and its bumper switch operates with much less of a crash than the Lionel piece. However, my choice would be an electronic reverse to run a Western Hobbycraft car without the bumper crash.

I really like those trolleys. BUT the industrial rail ones have plastic gears.
If you want to spend the money get the Atlas ones.
Guess it depends what you like. The MTH ones are bigger. The Lionel
ones work well. we run the crap out of them at shows. the one you have is very nice,
looks good and runs nice and slow.
