And what a ride it is..although this is located in India, I was thinking this was a taste of what the old Rio Grande Southern must have been like. This contraption really zips along some hairpin turns. . They still use a token system for traffic control! Nearly every station is near a river, tunnels galore. If I had the bucks it would be added to my bucket list but my bucket has a hole in it.

That bridge is amazing..sort of a cross between a Roman Aqueduct, Starrucca Viaduct and a insane beehive. The varying pattern of the amount of arch each span has makes it additionally quirky to look at. That big nose on the car body with a twin beam sealed headlight really contrasts with the "modern" coach section.  I would love to sit in the drivers seat..just once..what a ride.
