I hope they will be firing up the Dash Two every so often.
Now that caboose has reporting marks for UPP. Is that not the marks for Union Pacific Passenger?

Yes, that caboose was completely refurbished by the previous UP Steam Crew, on their "off hours" on a volunteer basis. Back when the ey occasionally deadheaded either 844 or 3985 with freight cars added behind the crew cars, that caboose was used on the reared. Thus, it was a "passenger service caboose" assigned to the Cheyenne Steam Shop.
The new manager, gave it away.
That is such a beautiful caboose, it's a shame it will be living it's life out in the museum, it's in great hands but still kind of a shame.
For a Big Boy, I think that could be considered a worthy trade.

I agree. That is a car that should be in a location where guests have controlle access to it to see the rolling office of a freight train.
