Good Day John,

Thanks for the compliment. I wish you the best on the paint job. As you know, I think traditional color schemes from the past with an inventive style would make for a very successful marketing campaign.

Did I ever mention..................I like purple!

Regards,
Frank

This is one heritage unit I would definitely buy if it was available. Maybe one in the ACL black scheme as well.

I was able to see the B&O and WM version today at the Wheeling / Oglebay Show, and they look great. I really like the gloss finish on the paint. Patrick only had one Chessie version, and he left it at the store? I have not made any purchases in a few years, but this one is tempting me. Big Grin

I will have to do some looking around and see what kind of prices are
out there on these also...

Thanks
Joe S.

i was looking at that this morning it wouldn't be hard to cover up the americana.

however i must say the western maryland they nailed i love it. whish i would have went for it. i just never been much of a wm guy

I was thinking of covering up the fuel tank also, not sure how, maybe a strip of brass painted black or some black auto pin striping. I do not want to paint over it for a few reasons. I will start with the pin striping first and see what that looks like. On a real engine I doubt they would put a flag or anything for that matter on a fuel tank, it would look like h**l in no time.
