In my continuing effort to successfully post a video to the new OGR Forum, I give you a test clip of a video I'm working on: Independent HiRailers at the World's Greatest Hobby Show on tour in Chicago. It's a work in progress, but still kinda fun to watch 'em roll by!

I'm not getting any audio when I play this. What about you?

No sounds here either- there is a little "x" by the sound button, which means you uploaded it to YouTube with no sound... the video is great though!
Actually, i just discovered why the audio is muted. My video was cut to a song "The Train" by the band "King's X" and... somehow.... Google KNOWS:
1. That the song was used in the video even though it was mixed in along with locomotive sounds and other ambient sounds.
2. Technically, I don't have the rights to use the song, in any way, so Google is preventing the audio from being heard.
Regardless of how you view "fair use", I find it slightly... unnerving... that Google, somehow... KNOWS that song is in there. What's next? CN will prohibit the use of models depicting their equipment and displaying their logo?
Beware: Big Brother Is Watching Your Trains!

Well beside the sound , they are some very well done modules!

You did a no no. You cant use copyrighted music on Youtube. If you are editing in iMovie there is default music you can use the is okay. There is a site Pond5.com where you can buy music to use in Videos and get decent Music for up to $25 per tract. It might be a good idea that you get licensed Music if you are going to make videos for the group, the last thing you need is a nasty-gram from an attorney looking for a payoff over un authorized music use.
Railroad movies/videos are better without music anyway! Unless you are dealing with silent movies of trains from back in the 1930s, 1940s, or 1950s, I much prefer the sound of the trains themselves, real OR models.
Rich, can't you add a fast playing, cheap sounding, piano playing as background music. You know just to make Jack feel like he is watching a movie from the 30's.
Add some scratches and make it B&W.
I like the video work, Rich. Just use the background sound.
The amout of terrific scenery and detailing you folks accomplish on a module is just amazing
Than k you for posting the video.
