Interesting YouTube video that popped up on my feed so I thought I would share it here.  Shot over in the UK and was uploaded earlier this month and features 8 passenger trains on 8 different tracks running by the camera in only 40 seconds.  Really cool and an amazing catch by the videographer

Reminds me of my old train watching spot as a kid on Morris Ave in the Bronx next to the Mott Haven coach yard.

We got to see trains headed north from Grand Central, the New York Central trains arriving from both the Hudson Division and the Park Ave, Bronx corridor, as well as the New Haven trains to and from Connecticut. Then, add in the near constant passenger car switching action in the yard.

Don't think there ever was a time when something wasn't moving.

Of course, it spoiled me for train watching for the rest of my life! Now, here in upstate NY, it's a train every few hours.
