Video Play Back

Sounds like you video player needs to be updated Try VLC.

I`ve tried updating. It shows all up to date. Already had VLC in my system. I`m only having issues with watching videos when logged on to the forum. Are there settings for the forum that I need to change. I did have a windows 10 update recently but it went well.

When you say you cannot see the video, what does that mean? Do you have a blank area where the video should be, or nothing at all on the screen?

The best way to describe it when I click on the play button I have audio as to what is being said or shown but the area is blank with progress bar showing on bottom but not showing anything. I m able to watch a video that directs to You Tube with no problem. Can`t see a video from another forum member.

My current browsers are Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. I wondering if since my last Windows update a error occurred pertaining to video playback. Checking in recent updates no errors are detected. Are there any settings within the forum to change?

There are no settings within the forum to change to enable video playback. It is undoubtedly the Windoze 10 "update" that hosed things up for you. Check your video playback settings on your computer. You may not have the right codecs installed to play mp4 files.

I still run Windoze 7 Professional on all my computers and have not done a Windoze "update" in years. I have the Update Service turned off.

And everything always works fine...

I was able to fix the issue I was having. Not sure how or why but my Flash Player was disabled somehow. Just had to enable it and now I`m able to watch the video`s. Thank you all for you help and advice.
